Project Rewild aims to get children back to nature through hands on fun and engaging outdoor activities, bush craft and nature connection teachings.
Wild child groups have none of the stress of the school curriculum or targets to meet. We include everyone, and support each individual’s curiosity and learning journey. Whilst our experienced and skilled staff facilitate activities and learning to challenge children, we also very much encourage a child led ‘free play’ ethos in which children are able to discover their own interests, and use their own imaginations to explore and discover. We also aim to inspire friendships and connections, in which individuals feel a part of community or tribe, to belong, to be heard and valued. We ultimately want to Rewild children so they are able to continue their outdoor adventures away from our groups.
After School Club
We want to encourage children to use natural outdoor spaces to play and explore. Our after-school clubs are the perfect way for children to engage with nature, have fun, meet new friends and get muddy!
Our aim is to have after school groups running all over the local area

A monthly woodland group for children who want or need more ‘Wild time’.
We offer a full immersive day in our ancient woodland site which allows children to explore their true wild nature year-round through a range of advanced bush craft and survival teachings, deep ecology and nature connection activities. Alongside our ‘Free Play’ ethos, this group will help children explore the limits of what they are capable of physically and emotionally.
Incorporating traditional Rites of Passage teachings participants will learn to understand and work with nature and gain the skills needed to take part in our Quest program in which they will have the opportunity to complete an overnight survival challenge.
Participants are welcome to come along when they can and have fun, but to fully feel the benefit we would recommend regular attendance throughout the yearly cycle.
Age range? 11- 16 years. 8-10 years will also be considered if they have the emotional and physical capabilities to fully benefit from the group – please feel free to contact us to discuss this.
